Striving for a cure for pediatric brain cancer.

Advancing research and celebrating families.

Brain cancer is the most common childhood cancer and leading cancer killer of children.

Destination Hope is a nonprofit organization focused on advancing the research, treatment and care of pediatric brain cancer.

Transforming the Standards of Care

Only a few treatments have ever been approved for the more than 100 types of brain tumors. For many tumor types, surgery and radiation remain the standard of care, and national guidelines suggest that clinical trials remain the best place to care for patients. We support innovative research and clinical trials that traditional research funding doesn’t support.

Ensuring Access to Leading Therapies

We have partnered with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Center at Duke University as an interdisciplinary research and treatment center. Together, we aim to develop innovative research and groundbreaking treatments and make those treatments accessible to all children.

Reducing Hardship

The treatment needs of pediatric brain tumors vary widely. Many families must stay in the hospital almost continuously for 7-8 months, giving up the conveniences of normal life, yet incurring more expenses and often times separating their family members to accommodate their child’s treatment. Our Hope for the Holidays program aims to celebrate families, normalize the effects of prolonged hospital stays and reduce the hardship of battling a brain tumor.

“What you are doing now will save the life of someone’s child and we thank you for everything you contribute.”
